Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent a malfunction of the engine or its stall from occurring, by installing a desired throttle opening compensating device which compensates the desired throttle opening to the opening side temporarily when an icing judgment is made by an icing detecting device. CONSTITUTION:When a desired throttle opening is varied to some extent, a closed position controlling device C operates a valve opening regulating mechanism 5, making a closed position of a throttle valve 2 shift to the extent of a position corresponding to the desired throttle opening. When an icing judgment is made by an icing detecting device D, the desired throttle opening is compensated to the opening side owing to the function of a desired throttle opening compensating device E. Thus, a malfunction of the engine or its stall is preventable from occurring.
