PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a recording result in a form easy to look, by enabling analogue recording and digital recording by selecting plural kinds of recording formats. CONSTITUTION:An amplifier 2 amplifies the input signal taken in an input change-over device 1 and an A/D converter 3 converts the output of the amplifier 2 to a digital signal. A setting means 5 selects either one of a first recording format performing not only analogue recording wherein the left side of recording paper is the min. value and the right sider thereof is the max. value but also digital printing of a measured value along the direction crossing the delivery direction of the recording paper at a right angle and a second recording format performing the digital printing of the measured value along the delivery direction of the recording paper and sets the same. At the time of measurement, CPU4 allows a recording means 8 to perform the analogue recording and digital printing of taken-in measured data so as to take either one of the recording formats selected by the setting means 5.
