PURPOSE:To estimate the demmand with high accuracy by analyzing the overall CPU using time of a system in addition to the CPU using time of each job and then calculating automatically the catching rate to obtain the ratio of each job out of said CPU using time. CONSTITUTION:The jobs J1, J2... are executed after the starting time point of a system is stored in a memory 2. In this case, the starting and end time points TS and TE of each job and the CPU stop time of each job are written to a charging record writing part 5. The data on said TS and TE are extracted after a job is through and a using time calculating part 13 calculates TE-TS to obtain the CPU using time. This using time is added to the daily CPU using time of a job group including the relevant job. Thus the CPU using time of each job group is stored daily in a totalizing area 20. Then a catching rate calculating part 15 calculates the catching rate through the area 20 by a double regression analyzing method.
