Summary: | PURPOSE:To detect accurate bodily temperature in a short thermometry time by filling resin for adhesion for fixing a temperature sensing element inserted into a protection cap into the protection cap only at its tip side. CONSTITUTION:The temperature measurement part 4 of an electronic thermometer has resin 9 for fixing the temperature sensing element 8 filled in the protection cap 3b only at its tip side. This temperature sensing element 8 is formed by covering a thermistor with thermosetting resin and sized to about 3-6mm length and the filling amount of the resin 9 is preferably as small as possible as long as the temperature sensing element 8 is fixed firmly on the internal surface of the protection cap 3b and also connected thermally. Thus, the heat capacity of the temperature measurement part is reduced. |
