Summary:PURPOSE:To charge leveling units quickly and easily by pulling out upper and lower leveling units from the housing of a tension leveler unitedly and assembling waiting stand-by spare upper and lower leveling units into the housing unitedly. CONSTITUTION:When waiting new stand-by spare blocks 1a' and 1b' on a driving side lower block carrier rail 20 are pushed by a block moving cylinder 21 to the left side, blocks 1a and 1b in a housing 14 are pushed onto a working side lower block carrier rail 20 by contact of abutting members 39b and 39a'. Concurrently, the new spare blocks 1a' and 1b' are set to a prescribed assembling position. Then, the block moving cylinder 21 returns to the stroke end and waits for succeeding change and assembly of leveling units it completed according to the conventional procedures.
