PURPOSE:To equip an auxiliary tool magazine with a work table in a less occupied space for its setting in a machine tool, by such a manner that auxiliary tools set in tool holders are allowed to change their position between the place not to interfere for the work and the place for the tool to be replaced. CONSTITUTION:A magazine 22 for the storage of auxiliary tools like heavy tools is rotatably equipped ina plane almost in perpendicular to the axial line of a spindle 16 onto a work table 13 about the position as a support point not to interfere for an ordinary work range of a tool mounted to the spindle 16. Further a driving cylinder 30 for giving a turning motion to the auxiliary magazine 22, in a location between the avoidable place for the auxiliary tool to be out of the work range and the tool replacement place for the auxiliary tool to be situated within a workable range of the spindle 16, is connectably equipped to a turning member 26 of the auxiliary tool magazine 22 having tool holders 28 for holding said auxiliary tools.
