Summary:PURPOSE:To shorten the time of restriction by a copying machine by storing the input signal of a start switch in a storage means and outputting the input signal of the start switch from the storage means at the end of variable power operation. CONSTITUTION:The storage means 2 for storing the input signal of the start switch 1 and a means 3 for outputting the input signal of the start switch 1 from the storage means 2 at the end of the variable power operation are provided. Therefore, when there are successive key inputs, specially, when there is a start key input during the processing of a magnification selection key signal, the start key signal can be processed continuously after a magnification selection key signal is processed. Consequently, the time of waiting for start key operation is shortened and the operativity is improved.
