Summary:PURPOSE:To improve heat resistance simply, inexpensively and extremely, by subjecting acrylonitrile to radiation graft polymerization on a polyolefin film and heat-treating the film at <= a fixed temperature. CONSTITUTION:Acrylonitrile is subjected to radiation graft polymerization on a polyolefin film and the film is heat-treated at <= the thermal decomposition temperature of the polyolefin. The polyolefin film is subjected to previous irradiation method wherein the polyolefin film is previously irradiated with >=3 Mrad radiation and immersed in acrylonitrile (<= boiling point) for >=1min, graft polymerization is carried out and then the polyolefin film is heat-treated at 180-240 deg.C.
