Summary: | PURPOSE:To obtain an antistatic agent compsn. which imparts excellent and persistent antistatic properties to synthetic resins and has improved properties with respect to sticking on the surface of molded products, by using a specified amide, a specified ester and a specified polyorganosiloxane. CONSTITUTION:An antistatic agent compsn. consists of at least one member (component A) selected from the group consisting of a condensate obtd. from an 8-18C satd. fatty acid and aminoethylethanolamine by dehydration, an amide of formula I (wherein R is a 7-11C satd. alkyl, and m is a number of 1-3) and an ester derived from a fatty acid of formula III (wherein R is a 7-11C satd. alkyl) and glycerol and a polyorganosiloxane (component B) having a viscosity of 10-10 cSt at 25 deg.C in a ratio of A to B of 0.02-1,000. Preferred examples of the polyorganosiloxane are alcohol-modified silicones and amino-modified silicones. A small amount of silicon dioxide, metallic soap or wax may be used to improve the anti-caking properties of the compsn. |
