Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce the repairing time, by winding a reinforcement sleeve around the outer surface of a breakage, and, connecting the both ends of the reinforcement sleeve each other and the both sides in the peripheral direction, when a breakage of a racing wire to connect the moving vanes of a turbine or the like is repaired. CONSTITUTION:When a breakage 3a of a racing wire 1 is produced between the neighboring moving vanes 2 and it is repaired, first, a reinforcement sleeve 8 is wound to cover the breakage 3a of the racing wire 1. In other words, a reinforcement sleeve 8 curved and formed about in U-shape beforehand is wound to cover the outer surface of the racing wire 1 including the breakage 3a. As well as the both ends in the axial direction of the reinforcement sleeve 8 are connected each other, the both end surfaces in the peripheral direction are welded at their corner skins, to fix the reinforcement sleeve 8 and the racing wire 1 at both sides of the breakage 3a, and the reparing is completed. Therefore, the repair work process is simplified and the repair time is reduced.
