Summary: | PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of steam by removing a solvent contained in drainage by means of steam and utilizing steam used to remove the solvent contained in drainage as steam for desorbing the solvent adsorbed on activated carbon. CONSTITUTION:Raw gas 1 is sent to an adsorption tank 3-1 via a blower 2 and adsorbed on activated carbon 4-1 and collected and then steam 5 is introduced into the adsorption tank 3-1 to desorb the adsorbed solvent. In this case, desorbed vapor 6 discharged from the adsorption tank 3-1 is cooled and condensed in a condenser 7 and allowed to flow to a separator 8 to separate it into the solvent and water is stored in a drainage tank 9 and thereafter sent to a distillation column 12 of drainage via a preheater 11 by a pump 10. In the distillation column 12 of drainage, drainage is distilled by steam fed from the lower part and the solvent is removed and stream is discharged through a line 15 of the upper part and utilized as stream for desorption in the adsorption tank 3-1. |
