Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the titled gel-free rubber without causing interparticle sticking and flocculation during the storage, by adding an anionic surfactant to rubber latex and incorporating dropwise the resulting mixture in an alkaline earth metal chloride solution followed by adding inorganic filler ultrafine particles in the form of a colloidal solution to the system. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of (A) anionic or nonionic rubber latex (pref. of polychloroprene rubber) and (B) 1-30pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the component A, of an anionic surfactant (pref. sodium lauryl alcohol sulfuric acid ester) is incorporated dropwise in an aqueous solution containing (C) 1-20pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the component A, of an alkaline earth metal chloride or nitrate (pref. CaCl2) to separate a rubber in a powdery form from the component A. The resultant rubber is incorporated with (D) 0.5-50pts.wt. of inorganic filler ultrafine particles in the form of a colloidal solution (e.g. of silica), thus obtaining the objective powdered rubber.
