Summary: | PURPOSE:To easily obtain a synthetic image of good picture quality by mounting a character plate on the display screen of a CRT and arranging a photographic image exposure system or CRT exposure system so as to oppose to photosensitive paper while arranging the other so that an image is printed on the photosensitive paper, and synthesizing an image of the image on the CRT and the characters of the character plate. CONSTITUTION:The photographic image exposure system projects a photographic image of a color negative film 13 on a screen 32 during monitoring operation. The CRT exposure system when reading the color signal of a positive image out of a frame memory so as to monitor a composite image during the monitoring operation converts the color signal into an analog signal, which is sent to a matrix circuit to obtain a brightness signal, so that the signal is sent to a CRT driving circuit. Thus, the CRT image is displayed on the CRT 25. This CRT projects the CRT image which is made lower in light emission brightness than in printing operation upon the screen 32. Further, the character plate 31 is lighted by the CRT 25 and the characters recorded thereupon are projected on the screen 32. |
