Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce noise and prevent a temperature rise due to the friction of a commutator with a brush by providing a sound insulation wall covering the periphery of rotor commutator within a motor and divided at least by a brush portion of the commutator. CONSTITUTION:A motor 9 has a stator 11 and a rotor 12 and besides a holder 14 retaining a brush 13. The rotor 12 has a commutator 15 which is electrified from the brush 13. A sound insulation wall 16 covering the periphery of the commutator 15 and divided at least by the brush 13 portion is secured within the motor 9. Noise mixed with air stream is reduced by making a detour by the sound insulation wall 16 and an air stream from an impeller 4 is exhausted while cooling a frictional part of the brush 13 with commutator 15.
