Summary:PURPOSE:To improve the volume efficiency of a storage tank by feeding and draining warm water through feeding and draining means in order to intensifyingly store, steam, and storing hot water variably in capacity so that pressure of hot water becomes constant, on storing and reusing steam in the form of steam or hot water. CONSTITUTION:On storing hot water, firstly warm water in a pure water tank 50 is fed into a variable capacity tank 10 through a feed pipe 3 by a high pressure pump 60 to move a floating piston 18 from the A1 position to the A2 position. Next, steam generated from boiler and the like is fed into the upper portion in a tank 10 through a feed pipe 1 in the form of hot water. When steam pressure acting on the piston 18 reaches to a specified pressure, warm water is the moved from the tank 10 to a tank 20 through opening and closing valves 14 and 24 to lower the piston 18, and opening and closing valves 11 and 23 and an exhaust valve 27 are closed when the piston 18 reaches to the A1 position. In this state, a piston 28 of the tank 20 is continually moved by warm water from the B1 position to the B2 position, thereby storage of hot water in the tank 10 is finished.
