Summary:PURPOSE:To suppress variance in system frequency during transient period by arranging a timer and a wipe-out circuit between a solenoid valve of a regulation valve control hydraulic line and a power load unbalance relay and by restoring the oil pressure of the regulation valve before the relay is reset. CONSTITUTION:Rapid action solenoid valves 23A-23D are arranged in control hydraulic lines of regulation valves of a turbine. When an unbalance between the turbine output and a generator load is sensed with a power load unbalance relay 20, an abnormal condition signal 21 is outputted to a turbine control system and at the same time the solenoid valves 23 are excited to close rapidly the regulation valve. And between the relay 20 and rapid action solenoid valve timers 37 are arranged a timer 38 which is started with the abnormal condition signal 21 to finish a time limit action just after the solenoid valves 23 being excited and a wipe-out circuit which receives output from the timer 38 and shuts off the abnormal signal to the solenoid valves 23. With this constitution, control hydraulic pressure of the rapidly closed regulation valve can be restored within a short period of time.
