Summary:PURPOSE:To limit the number of sensors to one and to prevent malfunction without adversely affecting wiring, etc., by installing an origin position discriminating part on the periphery of a disk and a deceleration point position decision part on both sides. CONSTITUTION:An origin sensor 2 is arranged on the outer periphery of the disk with a slit 1, and detects deceleration point slits 7 and 9 and an origin slit 8. When returning to the origin start, the disk 1 rotates in a positive direction by theta deg. with 2alpha<theta<360 deg. given in order to be out of a range of an angle 2alpha until the sensor 2 is turned on. Thus the sensor 2 does not fall on the slits 7, 8 and 9. Then, when the disk 1 reversely rotates to turn on the sensor 2, it is decelerated. At the time of the 2nd turning on, a motor controller 5 controls a motor driver 4 to stop a motor 3. Thus return to the origin can be made without malfunction even if the sensor 3 lies within the range of the angle 2alpha made by three slits. One sensor suffices and malfunction can be prevented without adversely affecting wiring etc.
