Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain a resin molding having excellent chalking resistance, by blending a polyvinyl chloride resin with additives including fine powders or short fibers of calcium sulfate. CONSTITUTION:In a resin molding composed of a polyvinyl chloride resin and additives, fine powders and/or short fibers of calcium sulfate are blended as part of the additives. Pref. said fine powders and/or short fibers are used in an amount of about 1-50wt% based on that of the molding. The aforementioned polyvinyl chloride resin molding is composed of a major proportion of a polyvinyl chloride resin and a minor proportion of additives such as a filler a lubricant (e.g., stearic acids), a colorant, etc. The short fiber of calcium sulfate is a slender plate crystal having a length of about 40-200mu and a thickness of about 0.5-5mu and a plate crystal having a length to thickness ratio of 20-100 is preferred.
