Summary:PURPOSE:To enable an inspection to be carry out in a desired place by hooking the anchor of a specimen windlass on a buoyant having a required strength and pressing said buoyant body against a barge itself on which said specimen windlass is loaded by winding said specimen windlass. CONSTITUTION:A buoyant body 7 having a required strength is placed in such a way that the body 7 is pressed against a barge 1 itself on which a specimen windlass 2 is loaded by hooking an anchor 4 on a hooked member 8 provided on the body 7 and winding the windlass 2. Thereby an inspection can be carried out in a desired place. Since the inspection can be conducted at a construction quay or in any other appropriate place by this method, it is not necessary to tow a barge 1 to a distance.
