Summary:PURPOSE:To attain the storage of a developer in the single state of a developing device body by attachably/detachably fitting flexible members to be abutted upon the peripheral edge part of an aperture part of the developing device body and a developing roller and a cover having a film covering the front surface of the flexible members to the developing device body. CONSTITUTION:A cover 65 for closing the aperture part 41 for exposing a part of a developing roller 33 of the developing device body and preventing the developing roller 33 from rotation is fitted to the developing device body. The cover 65 is provided with a cover body 67 having a fitting/fixing part 66 to the developing device body and the 1st and 2nd flexible members 69, 70 fitted to the cover body 67 and abutted upon at least the peripheral edge part of the aperture part 41 and the developing roller 33 through a film 68. The fitting/fixing part 66 is constituted of positioning claw members 72, 72 molded unitedly with the upper edge part of the cover body 67 and to be engaged with engaging holes 71, 71 formed near the peripheral edge part of the aperture part of the developing device body 40 and the 2nd unload blocking engaging parts 73, 73 molded unitedly with both the end parts of the cover body 67 and engaged with both the end parts of a shaft 33a of the roller 33.
