Summary:PURPOSE:To attain a stable long-term adhesion, by adding carbon black to an adhesive layer of a colored tape. CONSTITUTION:The titled tape comprises a colored polymer tape layer and an adhesive layer. The adhesive layer contains carbon black. The amt. of the carbon black added is pref. 0.1-20wt%. Examples of the polymer of the polymer tape layer include soft polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, chloroprene rubber, and ethylene/propylene rubber. The soft polyvinyl chloride is particularly preferable. The adhesive of the adhesive layer can be prepd. by adding a tackifier, such as a polyterpene resin or a modified rosin, to a rubber.
