PURPOSE:The titled polymer useful as a high polymer type antioxidant having extremely improved heat resistance and oxidation resistance, comprising a polymer containing a 4-hydroxy-3,5-dialkylphenoxy group replaced with a specific alkyl. CONSTITUTION:The titled polymer comprising 0-100mol% unit shown by formula I, 0.50-mol% unit shown by formula II, 0-32mol% unit shown by formula III, 0-99.4mol% unit shown by formula, IV, 0-32mol% unit unit shown by formula V and 0-4mol% unit shown by formula VI [G is 4-hydroxy-3,5- dialkylphenoxy shown by formula VII (R is 3-5C alkyl); J is 1-10C alkoxy, fluoroalkoxy shown by formula CmH2mQCH2O-(m is 1-4; Q is H or F), phenoxy shown by formula VIII (R and R are H, halogen or 1-4C alkyl), mono- or di-substituted phenoxy; L is alkenylphenoxy shown by formula IX (R is 2-3C alkenyl)] as main constituent units, having >=32mol% total amounts of units shown by the formula I and formula IV, >=0.6mol% total amounts of units shown by the formula II and formula III and 10-50,000 polymerization degree, wherein these units are randomly polymerized by head to tail bond.
