PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition having a high sensitivity for ultraviolet rays and visible rays by using the composition contg. (a) a specific additionally polymerizable compd, (b), N-aryl-alpha-amino acid and (c) a photosensitizer as the titled composition. CONSTITUTION:The titled composition contains (a) the additionally polymerizable compd, (b) the amino acid shown by formula (I) and (c) the photosensitizer. As the (a) component, for example, condensate obtd. by reacting a polyhydric alcohol having >=100 deg.C b.p. at a normal pressure and an alpha,beta-unsatd. carboxylic acid is used. As the (b) component, N-aryl-alpha-amino acid shown by formula I (wherein R1-R5 are each H, 1-12 C an alkyl group or a halogen atom, R6 is H, 1-12 C an alkyl or a cycloalkyl group, etc., R7 and R8 are each H or 1-8 C an alkyl group) is used. As the (c) component, the photosensitizer capable of absorbing a light having 300-500nm, for example, the compd. shown by formula II (wherein R9-R16 are each H, 1-8 C an alkyl group or a halogen atom) is used. By combinating the (b) and (c) components, the titled composition having the photopolymerization initiating property and the high sensitivity at the range of the ultraviolet ray - the visible ray is obtd.
