Summary:PURPOSE:To attain a stable operation by providing a superconductor to which the intrusion of magnetic flux is more difficult compared with the superconductor layer of an information storing means at a part near the intruding end of magnetic flux in the superconductor layer side of an information writing means excepting a part to which magnetic flux intrudes while covering the superconductor layer constituting the information storing means. CONSTITUTION:The superconductor layer 41 (shown by dotted lines in the figure) which has the film thickness more than the superconductor layer 2 of an information storing means 1 and to which the intrusion of magnetic flux is more difficult is provided in the part near the intruding end of magnetic flux on the side of the superconductor layer 12 of an information writing means 11 excepting a part to which magnetic flux intrudes. The superconductor layer 41 and a superconductor layer 32 that constitutes the lower electrode of a Josephson junction element may be connected electrically, or may be separated through a narrow slit, etc.
