Summary:PURPOSE:To form the penetration bead having a correct dimentional accuracy by providing the water soluble deformation preventing material which prevents the welding deformation on a narrow gap part and by welding by providing the copper plate which is formed in the size and shape of a heat resistant particle layer and penetration thereupon. CONSTITUTION:A groove 17 is formed close to a rib 12 by using a water soluble deformation preventing material 16 on the narrow gap part, in case of welding a base metal 11 and upper plate 14. A heat resistant particle layer 18 is filled up in the prescribed thickness in this groove 17, the copper plate 19 which bevels one corner is placed thereon as a backing material and pressed so that the upper face thereof is coincided with the height of the rib 12. Thereafter, the heat resistant particle layer is packed in the gap of the side face of th4e copper plate 19 and deformation preventing material 16 so that the copper plate 19 is adhered to the rib 12. The TIG welding is performed by mating the upper plate 14 in such state.
