Summary:PURPOSE:To make a device small-sized reduce its cost by reciprocating a paper stopper against a paper feed path in conjunction with the engaging/disengaging action of a hook member with a sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A paper feed roller 1 is stopped or rotated in conjunction with the engaging/disengaging action of a hook member 8 with a hook claw 7a formed on the outer periphery of a sleeve 7. The claw 15a of a stopper 15 is extended on the conveyance path 13 on the downstream side of a conveying roller 14 and the extended end section 8b of the hook member 8 is coupled with the end section 15b extended upstream. Accordingly, a solenoid 11 is turned on and the hook member 8 is swayed, thereby the stopper 15 is swayed in conjunction with the sway of this hook member 8, thus the stopper claw 15a is retreated from the paper feed path 13. Since the hook member 8 and the stopper 15 are driven by one solenoid 11, the device can be made small-sized and its cost can be reduced.
