Summary:PURPOSE:To eliminate the slackening of roll paper in the initial insertion by installing a gear installed at the edge part in the axial direction of the roll paper and a rack gear for the engagement with said gear. CONSTITUTION:When a paper accommodating case 20 is pushed until a guide rail engagement piece 23 contacts a rear stopper piece 16, a gear 32 is meshed with a rack gear 34, and the gear 32 shifts on the rack gear 34, revolving in the A direction. A roll-paper pressing plate 31 and the gear 32 are in press- contact state by the proper pressure of a tension spring 33, and when the slackening of paper exists, the revolution of the gear 32 is transmitted to the roll-paper pressing plate 31 by the frictional force and also transmitted to the roll paper 30 by the frictional force generated between the roll paper pressing plate 31 and the roll paper 30, and the roll paper 30 is revolved in the B direction, and the slackening of the paper is eliminated.
