Summary:PURPOSE:To decrease collection time by sending repetitively a data from each terminal equipment in a frame of prescribed period simultaneously, storing the data by one period and checking the storage corresponding to each terminal equipment so as to extract the data. CONSTITUTION:When terminal equipments 2-1, 2-2...2-n receive a data collection command from a data collecting equipment 1, a terminal equipment having a data to be sent sends the transmission data immediately at a frame of a prescribed period T repetitively. In the data collection equipment 1, after the data collection command is sent, a control section 9 applies control to await the equipment 1 for a time 2D being a reciprocation propagation time or over up to the farthest terminal equipment among the equipments 2-1...2-n. Then the data sent from each terminal equipment through transmission lines 3-1...3-n is subject to bit synchronization by a multiplexer 7 and multiplexed, and the data for one period from all the terminal equipments 2-1, 2-2...2-n is stored in a temporary storage section 8 without taking frame synchronization. When the terminal equipments 2-1...2-n receive a data collection and command, the repetitive transmission is stopped.
