Summary:PURPOSE:To enable the calculation of the amount of salt without using chemicals or the like and requiring special chemical knowledge, by drilling a concrete construction to measure the concentration of salt after water is added to concrete powder obtained. CONSTITUTION:A concrete construction is drilled with a hammer drill of the diameter of about 1cm to sample a concrete powder 3. Then, the volume of the powder 3 is measured with a measuring cylinder and water 5 is added about twice as much as that. Here, when salt is too much, the mount of water shall be 3-4 times as much as the volume of the powder. The concrete powder 3 and the water 5 are stirred up with a glass rod 9 to form a sample 6. An electrode bar 8 of a salt-measuring device (chlorine ions densitometer) 7 is put into the sample 6 to measure the concentration of the salt (the concentration of chlorine ions). From the results of measurement, the amount of salt is calculated.
