PURPOSE:To record voice matched with a picture by forming plural microphones having different directivity each other in a video camera provided with a zoom video and operating and outputting a sound signal. CONSTITUTION:A zoom lens 22 is loaded to the video camera 21. A singledirective microphone 11 and an electron telescopic microphone 16 are also formed in the video camera 21. When the coverage of the lens 22 is a wide angle 26, voice is recorded on the basis of the directivity 23 of the microphone 11. When the coverage angle is made a narrow angle 25 by controlling the lens 22, sound is recorded at the directivity of the microphone 16. A means for adding or subtracting sound signals form the microphones 11,1 16 to change their rate and outputting the added or subtracted signal is formed to extract the emphasized sound of near or far sound. Since the plural microphones having different directivity each other are formed, sound can be recorded with ambience matched with the picture in accordance with the zooming of the lens.
