PURPOSE:To make rotation for a locked work ever so easy as well as to aim at improvements in machining efficiency, by forming a clamp part of a pallet into circularity and a pallet holding part of a pallet stand into a U-shaped form, while holding the pallet with a stopper in a slip-stop manner. CONSTITUTION:To transfer a pallet 7 onto a pallet stand 2 from a transfer machine table 6, this table 6 is moved to a position where the pallet 7 matches a concave part 9, and a clamp device is released free and simultaneously lifted up, making the stand 2 come close to the table 6, then the U-shaped concave part 9 is inset in a circular clamping part 14. Next, at that point that the clamping part 14 is inset in a bend part 9b, a selector valve 33 is selected to where it should be, and when pressure oil is fed out of a pump 35, a piston 21 is moved to the right, projecting a roller follower 22 out of a rectilinear part 9a, while a piston 27 of a safety protector 19 goes up, coming into contact with an end face of a small diametral part 21a, and thereby its motion is restricted. Then, when the stand 2 is moved in a direction separating from the table 6, the pallet 7 is easily transferred onto the stands after separation as being held by the stand 2 as it is.
