Summary: | PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a ghost and the decrease in quantity of detected light and to perform high-precision detection by carrying out a reflection preventive treatment suitable for diffused light or fluorescence as to wall surfaces of the flow cell. CONSTITUTION:Cell particles of the flow cell 1 flow through a flow part 2 at right angles to this paper surface. Illumination light L illuminates the flow part 2, radiant light from which is detected by a front scattered light detection part A, a sideward scattered light detection part B, and a fluorescence detection part C. Condenser lenses 3a-3c, photodetectors 4a-4c, and a wavelength selective band-pass filter 5 which transmits only fluorescence are provided. Respective wall surfaces S1-S4 are coated with thin films for prevention against reflection; the wall surface S1 which is irradiated with the illumination light, wall surface S2 which detets front scattered light, and wall surface S3 which detects sideward scattered light are coated with the thin films having large prevention effect to the wavelength of the illumination light and the wall surface S4 which detects fluorescence, on the other hand, is coated with a thin film having large reflection prevention effect to specific wavelength width of the fluorescence. |
