Summary:PURPOSE:To improve the performance of the thrust and speed of a linear pulse motor by forming a stator formed with pole teeth on the surface in a rectangular section. CONSTITUTION:A stator 1 is formed in a rectangular section with grooves 12 on the upper and lower surfaces to form pole teeth 3. A movable element 4 is formed integrally with a terminal board 6 at one end of a square-sectional cylindrical movable body 5, and a hole 7 for movably engaging the stator 1 is formed at the center. A bearing support 9, movable teeth 10, a coil 11, movable teeth 12, a permanent magnet 13, movable teeth 14, a coil 15, movable teeth 16, and a bearing support 17 are movably engaged from the hole 8 side to form a linear pulse motor. Thus, the flow of the magnetic flux at coil exciting time has no wasteful flow, and the entire coil magnetic flux can be effectively utilized to improve the propulsion and speed performance. Since the stator 1 is formed in a rectangular section, the workability is improved, and a gap to the element 4 is precisely improved.
