Summary:PURPOSE:To improve a reliability of a system and to make a system small, non- adjusting and low-priced by equalizing a waveform and digitizing a reproducing means of data for a digital information signal of a character multi signal, etc., which are overlapped and transferred to a television signal. CONSTITUTION:Synchronizing with the first clock generated at the first clock generating circuit 2, an input signal is quantized at an A/D converter 1 and a waveform equalization is executed for distortion of the input signal at a waveform equalizing circuit 3 which is composed of a digital filter. The waveform equalizing circuit output is inputted to a phase interpolating operation circuit 4 and a phase difference detecting circuit 5. In the phase difference detecting circuit 5, the difference between an ideal sampling phase and a sampling phase by the first clock is detected and the information is outputted to an interpolating clock control signal 6. The phase interpolating operation circuit 4 operates a phase shift for an output signal of a waveform equalizing circuit 3 based upon interpolating control information. Thus, an output signal almost equal when sampling is executed by ideal sampling timing can be obtained.
