Summary: | PURPOSE:To prevent a concerning portion from interference with a condensor and reduce the elevational dimension needed to install an energy damper by installing a pressure reducing pipe for reducing main steam pressure to one capable of flowing into the condensor in the interior of the condensor. CONSTITUTION:In a generating station which bypasses a turbine to flow main steam into a condensor 7, a pressure reducing pipe 16 for reducing main steam pressure to one capable of flowing into the condensor 7 is installed in the condensor 7. Thus, the bore of a piping extending through the condensor 7, which was conventionally dimensioned to be D2, is reduced to D1 (D2/D1=1.6-1.7). Also, a gap delta2 between a circulating water piping and a turbine bypass piping is expanded. On the other hand, the downstream side of the pressure reducing pipe 16 is constructed to be a T-shaped branch pipe and connected at both ends to an energy damper 17. Thus, both the elevational dimension H2 of said damper 17 and the bore of its master pipe 17a are reduced. |
