Summary:PURPOSE:To readily position an armature and a commutator by inserting the cut and erected part of an annular resin unit from forming the commutator into a hole extending axially at the end of the armature. CONSTITUTION:A slot 3a is formed on the outer peripheral side of an armature 3, and three holes 4a extending axially from the end of the armature 3 are formed at an equal interval. A commutator 6 disposed at the winding end 5a side of an armature coil 5 is composed of an annular resin unit 7 of an insulator, a riser 8 of a coil connector and a segment 9. Three projections to be inserted into the holes 4 are integrally molded at the end of the armature core 3 side of the cylindrical unit 7. Thus, the armature and the commutator can be readily positioned.
