Summary:PURPOSE:To separate rapidly and readily genes of acetic acid bacteria, by expressing the genes of acetic acid bacteria utilizing the gene expression ability of the genes of acetic acid bacteria in Escherichia coli using an Escherichia coli host vector system and separating the resultant genes of acetic acid bacteria. CONSTITUTION:Genes of acetic acid bacteria are expressed using an Escherichia coli host vector system, e.g. Escherichia coli C600, Escherichia coli HB101 or Escherichia coli LE392, utilizing the gene expression ability of the genes of acetic acid bacteria in the Escherichia coli and then separated. Bacteria belonging to the genus Acetobacter, Gluconobacter or Frateuria are used as the acetic acid bacteria. Genes thereof include those produced from Acetobacter aceti (FERM-P No.7122). According to this method, the aimed useful genes of acetic acid bacteria can be rapidly and readily separated.
