Summary: | PURPOSE:To protect the arm of a brush holder from being bent outward, by arranging the arm of the brush holder so as to touch a recessed part formed in an end frame. CONSTITUTION:A brush 1 is pressed against a cylindrical commutator 7 by a brush spring 2 to provide a smooth commutation. A brush holder 10 is held between an end frame 12 and a yoke 13 and fixed by junction at socket and spigot parts 12b and 13b. The outer circumference side of the arm 4 of the brush holder 10 touches a recessed part 12a formed in the bottom surface of an end frame 12. With this constitution, although the spring force of the brush spring 2 operates to deform the arm 4 of the brush holder 10 to the direction of an arrow, the deformation can be avoided by the recessed part 12a of the end frame 12. |
