Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the current lead of good cooling performance by forming the fins around the axis of the current lead into a disc form. CONSTITUTION:The lead comprises a solid part, that is, an axis 15 in the center and around that, a plurality of fins 16 of disc form are provided and the axis 15 and the fins 16 are surrounded with a sheath 17. The fin 16 comprises a cutout 18a which forms a flow path 18 for cryogenic gas together with a space among the fins 16. The cutout parts 18 of the fins 16 are preferably in form of the slit which makes a right angle with an axial line of the current lead extends in radial direction of the disc. Also preferably, the slit-form cutout is different from a cutout of the next fin in the angle position in circumferential direction. The cryogenic gas 4 flows through the path 18 formed by the cutouts arranged on the fins 6 and the cooling of the current lead can be performed by cooling the surface of the fins 16.
