PURPOSE:To prevent to mix contaminated air with clean air in a hood by the ascending of contaminated air to the ceiling portion of the hood by a method wherein a suction device is linked to a suction port formed along the total length of the clean booth hood. CONSTITUTION:A filter 2 is provided at the ceiling portion of a clean booth 1, a hood 3 is hanged downward around the filter and the lower side of the hood becomes an area to be cleaned. The slit-type suction port 4 is provided so as to extend along the total length of the hood at the inner lower surface of the hood 3 and a long duct 5, linked to the suction port 4 is arranged at the outer surface of the hood 3. The duct 5 is linked to a suction device 6 through a suction hose 61 and keeps lower pressure than the inner pressure of the clean booth. Accordingly, the contaminated air flow penetrated from fown side of the hood and elevated to the ceiling of the hood 3, as before, does not mix with clean air entering through the filter 2. Therefore, the cleanness of the air in the hood may be improved.
