Summary: | PURPOSE:To reconvert for erroneous conversion without inputting KANA (Japanese syllabary) letter string again by storing corresponding KANA letter string even after the decision of a mixed writing of KANJI (Chinese characters) with KANA etc. CONSTITUTION:When an operator give instruction for conversion after inputting a character string 1 from a keyboard 1, a character string 2 conversion is performed. When the operator gives instruction for correction of other character string in the document, the character string is decided, and a character string 5 is registered in a KANA-KANJI file 5. The operator, after noticed error 'HENKAN' (return in English) in a mixed writing of KANJI and KANA, determines the extent of correction 3 using a cursor controlling key and a function key. When the operator gives indication for reconversion, a KANA- KANJI conversion section 3 retrieves the KANA-KANJI file 5 making 'HENKAN' a key and a KANA letter string 'HENKAN' is obtained, and by making KANA-KANJI conversion again for the KANA letter string, a mixed writing of KANJI with KANA 4 is obtained. As entirely the same state with the time of the first inputting of characters can be reproduced, the burden of an operator in correcting a document can be reduced. |
