Summary:PURPOSE:To improve dimensional accuracy and corrosion resistance, by forming both the pressure receiving plate of a diaphragm through the first plating layer by electroless plating or the like and the peripheral fixed part through the second plating layer by electroforming. CONSTITUTION:A diaphragm 10 is constituted of a flat plate-shaped pressure receiving part 11 and a peripheral fixed part 12 protrusively provided in the periphery of said pressure receiving part 11 and forming the internal surface in a cylindrical shape while the external surface in a squared shape. The pressure receiving part 11, consisting of the first nickel plating layer formed by electroless nickel plating or nickel electroforming, is formed in fine dimensions about a 20-50mu thickness and 3-10mm diameter. The peripheral fixed part 12, consisting of the second nickel plating layer formed by nickel electroforming, is formed in about 0.2-0.5mm thickness.
