Summary: | PURPOSE:To locally paint the titled resinous molded product by coating a strippable paint on the molded product, cutting the paint along a parting line, releasing the paint, cleaning and degreasing only the part to be coated, painting the paint, baking and curing the paint and then releasing the strippable paint on the uncoated part. CONSTITUTION:When a part of a resinous molded product of polyolefin is painted, a strippable paint 3 is firstly coated on the surface of the resinous molded product such as a bumper by using a spray gun. The paint is cut by melting along a parting line 6 from an uncoated part and the strippable paint on the part 1b to be painted is released. The part 1b to be painted is then cleaned and degreased with an alcoholic solvent, sodium metasilicate, etc., a paint is coated on the part and the paint is baked and cured. Subsequently, the strippable paint 3 for masking is released. Since only the part to be coated is thus treated before coating, the amt. of a processing agent to be used is reduced and the operation is efficiently carried out. |
