Summary: | PURPOSE:To make double writing or a magnetic disc device possible by incorporating a disc cache and writing the same data on the first and the second magnetic disc devices with one data write instruction from a central processing unit. CONSTITUTION:An address selecting circuit 9 selects contents of a disc address register 7 by an address/data selection control circuit 8 and inputs them to a disc write control circuit 11. A data selecting circuit 10 selects write data from a central processing unit 1 and inputs it to the control circuit 11. The control circuit 11 selects the first magnetic disc device 12 by the control of the selection control circuit 8 and writes write data in the beforehand inputted disc address. Since the disc address and write data from the central processing unit 1 are stored in a disc address queue 5 and a disc cache 6, these information are used to execute the write operation for a magnetic disc 13, and thus, the same data is written on magnetic disc devices 12 and 13. |
