Summary:PURPOSE:To build up a rubble-mound with improved leveling accuracy and with good efficiency by a method in which small-size stones are partly removed out of large and small-size stones in a stone-housing chamber, large and small- size stones are discharged from the front side and stacked, and small-size stones alone are discharged from the back side. CONSTITUTION:When large and small-size stones are charged from a supply port 2 into a stone-housing chamber 4, small-size stones (b) are partly discharged and dropped through a classifier 5. A rubble leveler is horizontally moved by a mover and the small-size stones (b) are stored in the back side 4b of the stone-housing chamber, Large-and small-size stones are discharged from the front side 3b of a stone charging port and stacked and leveled to a given level L by the lower end of the classifier 5. When a great recession(c) is formed, the small-size stones (b) are charged into the recession (c). Since the needs for leveling operations for the rubble-mound are eliminated, operational efficiency and the leveling accuracy can thus be greatly enhanced.
