Summary:PURPOSE:To make possible the analysis with high accuracy by detecting the 4-(N,N-dimethylamino)-1-naphylthiohydantoin, etc. generated by the Edman degradation reaction using 4-(N,N-dimethylamino)-1-naphthiocyanate, etc. by a time degradation flouorescent detection method in which a pulse laser is used as a light source. CONSTITUTION:A nitrogen laser 8 is used as a light source in the case of analyzing 4-(N,N-dimethylamino)-1-naphthylhydantoin and part of the laser light is taken out by a beam splitter 10. The taken out light is detected 11, delayed 15 and used as the trigger signal for a sample holding circuit 17. Part of the detected 11 signal is held 16 and is used as a reference signal for correcting fluorescent intensity. The greater part of the laser light passes the splitter 10. The condensed 7 fluorescence is divided 12 and is depected 13. The signal is amplified 14 and is sample-held in the delay time set by a delay circuit 15. The change of the quantity of the laser light is compensated by the reference signal in an arithmetic circuit 18 and is recorded 19.
