Summary: | PURPOSE:To decrease the noise, by forming small holes along the shaft's direction, in the diffuser of air guide of a centrifugal fan. CONSTITUTION:The diffuser 19 of air guide 17 of a centrifugal fan and the casing 14 of this fan are brought in contact with each other, at almost the middle part between the diffuser 19 and a return passage 21. Grooves 22' are formed along the shaft's direction, in the diffuser 19 of the air guide 17, and small holes 22 are shaped by said grooves 22' and the casing 14. Consequently, NZ (the product of the number of vanes of the impeller and the rotational speed) noise generated by the motor-driven fan can be decreased, because the NZ noise is absorbed by said small holes 22, and the constitution of this fan can be simplified. |
