Summary:PURPOSE:To harmonize the both demands of the durability of a frictional engagement apparatus and the reduction of the speed-change impact by suppressing the increase of torque during speed change by delaying the transmission of the instruction signal for engaging a clutch means up to the completion of kick- down when the kick-down is detected. CONSTITUTION:A clutch operating means O transmits an instruction signal for switching a supercharger from stop to operation. When a kick-down detecting means D2 detects the kick-down of a transmission T, the transmission of the switching signal for switching the supercharger from stop to operation is delayed, until the kick-down is completed, and the supercharger S starts operation after kick-down.
