Summary: | PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. which has a low viscosity and excellent transparency and adhesion and does not cause distortion during curing, by dissolving an unsaturated polyester having a specified composition in styrene and an ester of an unsaturated dibasic acid and blending maleic anhydride therewith. CONSTITUTION:An unsaturated polyester (A) having an MW of 500-8,000 per mol of the unsaturated group obtd. by reacting an acid component contg. an unsaturated dibasic acid (anhydride) and 3,6-endomethylene-1,2,3,6- tetrahydrophthalic acid (anhydride) with an alcohol component, is dissolved in styrene (derivative) (B) and a mono-and/or diester (C) of an unsaturated dibasic acid in such a proportion as to give a ratio of b/(a+c) of 1/10-10/1, wherein a, b and c are moles of unsaturated groups of components A, B and C, respectively. 0.5-10pts.wt. maleic anhydride is blended with 100pts.wt. resulting compsn. to obtain the title resin compsn. |
