The generator 2 and the wood 3 are relatively moved while the focus of the laser beam and the contact 4 of the wood are adjusted in the stage of machining the wood 3 by using the generator 2. The machining of the wood to the desired shape such as circular columnar, circular conical and spherical shapes or the connected shape thereof is made possible.
